Dokan is not a touristic village and one of the most authentic (Batak) Karo villages where local people remain living in their traditional tribe (long) houses and still following their unique traditions up brought by their ancestors into their daily live.
Dokan is one of the top highlights – tourist attractions around North Sumatra, Indonesia located around 30 km (1 hour drive) from Berastagi along the way to Samosir Island – Lake Toba and 15 km (30 minutes drive) from the magnificent Sipiso piso waterfall.
