TRAVEL ITINERARY:
DAY 1 – Padang Airport to Harau Valley
- Suggested the latest time to start the tour around 11h00 – End around 17h00.
Our team will be pick you up either from Padang Airport or at any hotels around Padang. Start the tour straight away heading to Harau Valley. Taking a coffee break at Panorama Kiambang after 90 minutes drive would be such a splendid time to spend while getting your muscles stretched out. Coffee break at local coffee shop Sungai Pua village located along the slope of Marapi Volcano. And finally continue driving to Harau Valley about 90 minutes drive to check in your hotel.
DAY 2 – Harau Valley lovely COUNTRYSIDE WALK or JUNGLE TREK
- Start around 08h00 – End around 16h30.
Start walking day in the morning, either easy countryside walk or jungle walk around Harau Valley. Lunch will be in the jungle. Stop at some waterfalls would be a perfect stop after walking and sweating a lot. And then proceed walking back to ABDI homestay later in the afternoon.
DAY 3 – Harau Valley to Bukittinggi via Minangkabau Countryside Tour.

Start the day heading to Panorama Tabek Patah for a superb coffee break while enjoying the enchanting terraced paddy field landscape surrounded by Bukit Barisan Range Mountains. After that proceeds driving to Batusangkar to visit tourism highlights of Minangkabau West Sumatra. “Istana Pagaruyung Palace”, the most fascinating Minangkabau traditional big or long house. Lunch break will be at Pondok Flora restaurant surrounded with amazing terraced paddy fields landscape at Sungai Tarok village.
The journey continues to visit Balimbiang village, to see old traditional Minangkabau houses. Especially “Rumah Tuo Kampai Nan Panjang” which was built without any nails and thatched roof top. Then continue driving to Singkarak Lake for coffee break. Proceed driving to Batipuah village to see the old building of Minangkabau mosque (called as ‘Surau’) with its original architecture. Proceed driving to Pandai Sikek Village to see local people make traditional hand weaving and wood carving. Finally heading to Bukittinggi about 30minutes drive and check in hotel Bukittinggi.
DAY 4 – Bukittinggi – Puncak Lawang Maninjau – Padang Airport

Starting the day by visiting Panorama Park to see the impressive view of Sianok Canyon Bukittinggi. Taruko Village for a lovely coffee break where this is the hidden paradise in the middle of city located at the bottom of Sianok Canyon. The journey proceeds to the most well-known silversmith in Sumatra, Koto Gadang Village to see local people make traditional handmade silver with native Minangkabau unique designs.
Later on taking a FunTastic coffee break at the magnificent Panorama Sungai Landia village surrounded by Singgalang mountains and teraced ricefield bottom view. And tours continue heading to Puncak Lawang to see the fabulous view of Danau Maninjau Lake caldera from the height of 1.200m absl accompanied by the lovely breeze with superb fresh air full of oxygen. After that we will proceed driving to Panorama Malalak and having a coffee break with Singgalang Mountain lanscape background. And then we drive straight to Padang Airport to end your holiday trip in West Sumatra.
