TOUR ITINERARY :
DAY 1 – Padang Airport to Bukittinggi.
Either pick up from Padang Airport (Minangkabau International Airport) or your hotel in Padang (during mid day), the trip will proceed to Bukittinggi straight away. Having a coffee break at Panorama Kiambang would be nice moment. Proceed driving to Bukittinggi around 90 Minutes drive and later at noon check in hotel (Bukittinggi)
DAY 2 – Bukittinggi to Maninjau Lake Countryside Tour
Starting the day by visiting Panorama Park to see the whole fascinating view ofSianok Canyon Bukittinggi. Proceed driving to Koto Gadang Village to see local people make traditional handmade silver. Later on coffee break at magnificentPanorama Sungai Landia. And continue heading to Puncak Lawang to see the fabulous view of Maninjau Lake and also possible to do the Flying Fox andParachutting/paragliding. Proceed driving to Maninjau Lake beach via Kelok 44(the hairpin road to Maninjau Lake) and enjoy the beach of Maninjau Lake while having lunch and even swim. Stay overnight at Maninjau Lake.
DAY 3 – Maninjau Lake to Harau Valley.
Start heading to Harau Valley. Coffee break Taruko resort located at the bottom of Sianok Canyon Bukittinggi. Proceed driving down to Harau valley which takes around 90 minutes drive and check in ABDI Homestay Harau Valley. Proceed the fun day by having easy lovely countryside walk around Harau Valley and to see some waterfalls. Back to ABDI homestay late noon.
DAY 4 – Harau Valley to Bukittinggi via MINANGKABAU Countryside Tour.
Starting heading to Batusangkar. Coffee break at Panorama Tabek Patah after 90 minutes drive. proceed driving to Batusangkar to visit Istana Pagauyuang Palace, the fascinating Minangkabau traditional big house. Lunch will be at Flora restaurant surrounded with terraced paddy fields landscape. Later on Later on visiting the Balimbiang village to see old traditional Minangkabau houses, especially Rumah Tuo Kampai Nan Panjang which was built without any single nails and thatched roof top. Then continue driving to Singkarak lake for coffee break. Proceed driving to Batipuah village to see the old building of Minangkabau mosque (Surau) with its original architecture.Proceed driving to Pandai Sikek Village to see local people make traditional hand weaving and wood carving. Head to Bukittinggi about 30minutes drive and check in hotel (Bukittinggi)
DAY 5 – Bukittinggi to Padang Airport.
Start heading to Padang Airport which roughly takes two hours drive. It is possible to drive around Padang downtown if you still have a bit of extra time before heading back to Padang Airport.
