TOUR ITINERARY :
DAY 1 – Padang Airport to Lembah Harau Valley
We will come to pick up either from Padang Airport (Minangkabau International Airport) or your hotel in Padang (during mid day). Firstly our trip will proceed to Harau Valley straight away. After that we will take a coffee break at Panorama Kiambang would be such a nice moment. And then we proceed driving to Harau Valley for about three hours drive. Finally we check in ABDI Homestay around late noon.
DAY 2 – Harau Valley Countryside HIKE or JUNGLE TREK
We will start our light adventure day in the morning, either easy countryside hiking or jungle trekking around Harau Valley. And then our lunch break will be in the jungle. We will also have some breaks at some waterfalls in the jungle would be a perfect stop after walking and sweating a lot. Finally we return to ABDI homestay later in the afternoon to end our jungle trekking day.
DAY 3 – Harau Valley to Bukittinggi via Minangkabau tour
Our day will start heading to Batusangkar. Coffee break at Panorama Tabek Patah after 90 minutes drive. Then we proceed driving to Batusangkar to visit Istana Pagauyuang Palace, the fascinating Minangkabau traditional big house. And our lunch break will be at Flora restaurant surrounded with terraced paddy fields landscape. After that we will continue to visit the Balimbiang village to see old traditional Minangkabau houses, especially Rumah Tuo Kampai Nan Panjang. This long house was built without any nails and traditionally thatched roof top.
And then we proceed driving to Singkarak lake for coffee break. Proceed driving to Batipuah village to see the old building of Minangkabau mosque (Surau) with its original architecture. Proceed driving to Pandai Sikek Village to see local people make traditional hand weaving and wood carving. Head to Bukittinggi about 30minutes drive and check in hotel (Bukittinggi / Grand Rocky or Novotel hotel)
DAY 4 – Bukittinggi to Padang Cubadak Paradiso Village Beach Resort or Rimba Ecolodge Beach or Jophira Tintin Beach.
Start heading to Padang downtown. Coffee break at Panorama Kiambang. Proceed driving and lunch will somewhere around Padang downtown. And after lunch break, we will proceed driving to Cubadak Paradiso Resort and will have a coffee break on the hill of Bungus Beach before reaching the jetty at Carocok Village. Get the speed boat to Cubadak Paradiso Beach Resort Padang for about 15 minutes.
