TRAVEL ITINERARY :
DAY 1 – Padang to Bukittinggi
- Suggested the latest time to start the tour start around 11h00 – End around 17h00.
Either picks you up from Padang Airport or your hotel in Padang and proceeds the journey to Bukittinggi straight away. Getting a coffee break at Panorama Kiambang after driving about 90minutes would be such a great idea while letting your muscles stretched out. And a short visit at Anai Valley waterfall must be wonderful to enjoy the scenic nature. Then we continue driving for 1 hour to visit Pandai Sikek Village to see local people make traditional hand weaving and wood carving. And finally we proceed driving to Bukittinggi around 1 hour drive to check in hotel.
DAY 2 – Bukittinggi to Maninjau Lake Countryside Tour
- Start around 09h00 – End around 16h30.
Starting the day by visiting Panorama Park to see the impressive view of Sianok Canyon Bukittinggi. Then our tour continues to Taruko Village for a superb coffee break located at the bottom of Sianok Canyon. The journey proceeds to the most well-known silversmith in Sumatra, Koto Gadang Village. Where we will be able to see how the local people make traditional handmade silver with native Minangkabau unique designs. Later on taking a FunTastic coffee break at the magnificent Panorama Sungai Landia village surrounded by Singgalang mountains and teraced ricefield bottom view. And then continue heading to Puncak Lawang to see the fabulous view of Danau Maninjau Lake caldera from the height of 1.200m absl accompanied by the lovely breeze with superb fresh air full of oxygen.
After that proceed driving to Maninjau Lake beach via Kelok 44 (the hairpin road to Maninjau Lake) to witness different angles of magnificent panoramic Maninjau Lake views. Finally our journey takes around 1 hour drive to reach the beach of Maninjau Lake and straight away check in your hotel. Then it is time eventually for having late lunch, relaxing and swimming whilst enjoying the magnificent landscape and fabulous ambiance of Maninjau Lake scenery.
DAY 3 – Maninjau Lake to Padang Airport
- Start around 08h00 – End around 17h30.
We start heading back to Padang downtown or Airport which roughly takes 4 to 5 hours’ drive through Malalak village located along the slope of Singgalang Mountain. Anyway, our awesome coffee break will be at Panorama Malalak while enjoying the thick dense jungle of Singgalang Mountain. The journey continues straight to explore Padang downtown and visit a very unique building of Masjid Raya Sumatera Barat (The Grand Mosque of West Sumatra). After that we wil travel further to visit Muaro fisherman village which is the eldest harbour in Padang. IF we still have got some spare time left, then it would be fabulous to have a coffee break on the hill of Muaro village facing towards the marvellous scenic view of Indian ocean west coast.
