DAY 1 – Medan City Tour – Kuala Namu International Airport to BUKIT LAWANG | NORTH Sumatra Indonesia

We are going to drive passing through some small towns planted with rubber trees, massive palm oil and cacao plantations. Eventually we will check in hotel after arriving at Bahorok – Bukit Lawang NORTH Sumatra and free program during noon time.
DAY 2 – Bukit Lawang 1 day Jungle Trekking Sumatran ORANGUTAN tours | NORTH Sumatra
After breakfast, we will explore Gunung Leuser National Park (Bukit Lawang rainforest) to discover ‘the rarest apes on earth’ Sumatran Orangutan 1 day jungle trekking tours. The Orangutan jungle trek tour takes around 5to7 hour’s jungle trek which is quite doable and suitable at any age.

DAY 3 – Bukit Lawang to BERASTAGI Karo Highland | NORTH Sumatra

Then we continue further cruising along the impressive landscape around the countryside area surrounding the slope of Sinabung Volcano.

After that we proceed driving to visit the most gorgeous Pagoda in Sumatra Indonesia, the charming Lumbini Buddhist Temple Park. Then we continue driving to the marvellous landscape of Gundaling hill for a splendid coffee break whilst enjoying the enchanting view of Sibayak and Sinabung active volcanoes. Finally you will have your leisure time and free program at noon after we check in hotel (Berastagi).
DAY 4 – Berastagi to SAMOSIR ISLAND – TOBA LAKE | NORTH Sumatra
Your holidays continue from Berastagi to Samosir Island Lake Toba, the most impressive caldera and interesting places in Sumatra, Indonesia. Along the journey, our first stop is to visit the ancient Dokan Village, the authentic traditional typical Batak Karo village. We will experience how the clans live in their long houses following the traditions from their ancestors in this village.
Then we proceed to a fabulous tourist attraction around Sumatra, the charming Sipiso piso waterfall with fascinating Lake Toba background. After that we carry on driving to visit the King Purba Palace, the ancient (Rumah) Bolon House at Simalungun regency. It is a remarkable opportunity to gain more experience and observe the different types of traditional Batak long houses’ architectures.
Then we proceed to having some lovely coffee break at Panorama Simarjarunjung, Northern Toba Lake view surrounded with beautiful mountains. DAY 5 – CULTURAL TOUR BATAK TOBA LAKE around Samosir Island | NORTH Sumatra
The Batak cultural tour Toba Lake North Sumatra Indonesia starts by visiting the most famous tourist attractions around Samosir Island. Our first stop will be at the impressive ancient stone chair site of King Siallagan court-yard situated at Ambarita village which is overwhelmed with their typical traditional Bolon houses. After that we will visit Simanindo village to witness and experience the traditional performance of Batak Toba dancing. And then we are going to take our lunch break around Tuktuk area.
After that we proceed to visit Tomok village to see the ancient site of King Sidabutar tombs graves yard (sarcophagus). DAY 6 – Transit trip from PARAPAT Lake Toba to BUKITTINGGI – Stay overnight in PADANG SIDEMPUAN | NORTH Sumatra Tour Indonesia
The Indonesia itinerary 2 weeks holidays continue from Parapat (Lake Toba) to Bukittinggi to explore beautiful West Sumatra holiday destinations. This tour ideally starts at 07h30(7.30am) from your hotel around Samosir Island catching a boat crossing Lake Toba to Parapat.
On this journey, we will stay overnight in Padang Sidempuan which is about halfway in between Parapat (Toba Lake) to Bukittinggi (Padang). Along our trip to Padang Sidempuan, we will visit Balige traditional market known with its typical Batak Toba house roof-top. After that a short coffee break will be at Panorama Gurgur, the magnificent southern panorama Lake Toba. And then another 1 hour drive to Tarutung Town (known as the lovely religious Christian town) for our lunch break. We continue driving for about 2hours’ to Sipirok village for a short coffee break at a lovely mountainous countryside area. Finally we travel farther around 90 minutes’ drive and check in hotel in transit town Padang Sidempuan around late noon.
DAY 7 – Padang Sidempuan to BUKITTINGGI – The Minangkabau Matrilineal Highland | WEST Sumatra
Your holiday’s trip from Padang Sidempuan will continue farther to Bukittinggi, the heart of Minangkabau Matrilineal Highland, West Sumatra highlights. Our first remarkable stop point will be at Sihepeng village for a lovely coffee break. Sihepeng village is such mini botanical gardens where you can see varieties of typical Sumatran spices grow around area. Then we proceed driving to Kotanopan village surrounded with impressive terraced paddy rice fields for our lunch break.
And our journey continues further crossing the border in between North-West Sumatra province, the Highland of Minangkabau Matrilineal Clan. After reaching Minangkabau West Sumatra region, we will have a short break at the marvellous Panti natural hot spring. And then we continue further to have lovely stop at the very well-known Bonjol Equator Lane West Sumatra. Finally we continue driving straight to Bukittinggi which takes around 90 minutes’ drive and check in hotel around late noon.
DAY 8 – Bukittinggi to LAKE MANINJAU | Countryside Tour WEST Sumatra

Lake Maninjau countryside tour begins by visiting Panorama Park, the fascinating overlook point of Grand Sianok Canyon, Bukittinggi tourism landmark. After that we continue our trip to Koto Gadang Village to see how the local people make traditional handmade silver. Then we drive along the Singgalang Mountain’s slope heading to the magnificent Panorama Sungai Landia for our splendid coffee break.
After that we continue farther to Puncak Lawang, a lovely top point to overlook at fabulous view of Maninjau Lake. Then our tour continues descending to Maninjau Lake via panoramic Kelok 44 hairpin road with gorgeous views along the way. After reaching Maninjau Lake, it is time to finally enjoy the beach while relaxing, having lunch and even swimming.
We travel back from Maninjau Lake to Bukittinggi around noon which approximately takes around 60minutes’ drive via the same road. Before reaching Bukittinggi, we will grab our chance for a marvellous coffee break at the lovely paradiso Taruko Village. This charming countryside is located on the bottom of the Grand Green Sianok Canyon Bukittinggi. Finally it is time to return to your hotel in Bukittinggi which roughly takes 15 minutes’ drive.
DAY 9 – MINANGKABAU Countryside Tour – Bukittinggi to Batusangkar Tanah Datar | WEST Sumatra

And we continue to Singkarak Lake for a lovely coffee break before heading back to Bukittinggi which takes about 60minutes-drive.
DAY 10 – Bukittinggi to HARAU VALLEY – Countryside Tour | WEST Sumatra

DAY 11 – Bukittinggi to ISLAND BEACH Resort in Southern PADANG | WEST Sumatra Indonesia

After that we will take a marvellous short break at Anai Valley waterfall just located along the main Sumatran highway.
