TRAVEL ITINERARY :

DAY 1 Medan Tour to Bukit Lawang.

LITE N EASY Tours’ representative will come to pick you up either from hotel in Medan city or Kuala Namu Airport. The tours around North Sumatra started by travelling to Bukit Lawang. Visiting some interesting places on our way around Medan. Such as visiting  (Istana) Maimoon Palace, fabulous Medan Grand Mosque (Masjid Raya Al-Mashun), the extraordinary church Maria Annai Vellangkanni and Crorodile Conservation Asam Kumbang. When finished visiting all the tourist highlights, then we carry on driving straight to Bukit Lawang which takes around 4-5 hours’ drive. The trip will be passing through small towns with rubber, massive palm oil and cacao plantations. Arriving in Bukit Lawang and check in hotel.


DAY 2  Sumatra ORANGUTAN Trekking tours 2 days 1 night stay in hidden Paradise Bukit Lawang jungle.

Our following exciting activity after breakfast is to explore Bukit Lawang jungle to discover the rarest apes on earth Sumatra Orangutan trekking tours. On the first day trip roughly takes 5to6 hour’s jungle trek which is quite doable and suitable at any age.

Even enjoying drinking cold beer while swimming in the refreshing Bahorok river accompanied by melodious sounds of nature rhythm from the jungle Gunung Leuser National Park – Bukit Lawang.


DAY 3 – Return to Bukit Lawang from the hidden jungle Gunung Leuser.

Morning time while having your breakfast would absolutely be a perfect moment to enjoy the extremely refreshing air. Grabbing the real feeling of the truly rain forest ambiance combined with the sound of nature around Gunung Leuser National Park.

As soon as the weather gets warmer, then we will start another exciting FunTastic adventurous river tubing in Bahorok river. Letting your self-drifting on such leisure river trip heading back to Bukit Lawang would be such an unforgettable remarkable experience.

The Fun Safety River Tubing itself takes about 30 minutes in the water navigated by our well experienced tubing driver. The river tubing tour trip itself is obviously very safe, doable and suitable for any age. Our stop will be back at Ecolodge hotel in Bukit Lawang.

And noon time, you will be on your own leisure’s, such as swimming in Bahorok river or taking an easy lovely walk to the surrounding villages or even having splendid traditional massage.


DAY 4  Bukit Lawang to Karo Highland Berastagi.

The North Sumatra vacation will proceed by travelling to Berastagi Town, a town surrounded with lovely mountains landscape. Coffee break at Panorama Pamah Simelir hill would be a great stop after 3 hours journey. Proceed travelling around the magnificent landscape of Sinabung Volcano countryside area. Reaching Berastagi, we will visit traditional market as well as Gundaling hill in Berastagi for the enchanting panoramic view of Sinabung and Sibayak volcanoes. Later at noon check in hotel (Berastagi).


DAY 5 – Mount Sibayak VOLCANO Hiking – Berastagi.

First of all, this tour is indeed much better to start quite early in the morning before sunrise in order to catch up the magnificent sunrise view. Ideally starts at 04h00 from your hotel in Berastagi. Another possibility is after early breakfast around 07h00 or 08h00 starting from your hotel purposely just to catch the view.

We start driving to Mount Sibayak starting point, roughly 30 minutes away from Berastagi. Then starts climbing up to slowly reach Mount Sibayak summit to enjoy the impressive view of Berastagi highland surrounding landscape. Sometimes the gigantic summit of Mount  Sinabung Volcano can also be seen if the weather is clear enough.

The easy splendid climbing itself takes around 90 minutes to 2 hours and likewise in return almost the same time. Then we continue driving to Sidebuk debuk hot springs located on the foot of Mount Sibayak for the natural relaxation happy ending after volcano hiking.

On the way back, we will visit Pagoda Lumbini, the impressive Buddhist Temple Park. It is situated about 30 minutes away from Berastagi before returning to hotel and leisure on your own during noon.


DAY 6 – Berastagi tour to Toba Lake – Samosir Island.

On our trip, we will have some stops to visit Dokan Village, the authentic traditional typical Batak Karo village. We will witness and experience how people live in their long houses following the traditions from their ancestors. Then we proceed to a fabulous tourist attraction around North Sumatra, the charming Sipiso-piso waterfall with fascinating Lake Toba lanscape.

Later on we go on on driving to the King Purba Palace, the ancient Bolon House at Simalungun regency. It must be great to gain more experience to see completely different type of traditional Batak long house architectures. We carry on on further to have some lovely coffee break at Panorama Simarjarunjung, Northern Toba Lake view surrounded with mountains views.

Finally we drive furthermore to Parapat or Tiga Ras to catch a ferry/boat across Samosir Island – Toba Lake. Eventually we check in hotel around Toba Lake during noon.


DAY 7 – Lake Toba Tour – Samosir Island.

Our day tours star visiting the most famous tour highlights around Samosir Island – Toba Lake. “King Siallagan” Stone chair ancient courtyard somewhere at Ambarita village, surrounded with typical Bolon houses will be our first stop.

Later on we will visit Simanindo village to watch the performance of Batak Toba traditional dance. After that we will visit Tomok village to see the ancient tombs (sarcophagus) of King Sidabutar graves yard.

Our lunch break will be made if requested. We will carry on further to Panorama Parhalow (Sigarantung) to have a lovely coffee break with maginificent southern view of Panorama of Samosir Island Lake Toba.

We return to hotel as soon as we are done with all the highlights. Free program during noon time and certainly be on your own leisure. Might be relaxing by the lake side or swimming would be great. Or even having traditional massage would absolutely be such a FunTastic choice.


DAY 8 – (Lake Toba) Samosir Island to Kuala Namu Airport Medan OR carry on to BukittinggiHarau ValleyManinjau LakeMinangkabau Pagaruyung Palace – Padang West Sumatra.

Finally on our last day tours, we are going adjust our departure time according to your flight schedule. We still cross to Parapat and back to the mainland roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour journey on boat/ferry. We then drive to Medan – (WING Hotel) Kuala Namu Airport via Pematang Siantar – Tebing Tinggi which takes about 4 to 5 hours drive. Or we might also drive you to Sibisa Airport around 1 hour. Another option is to Sibolangit Airport about 2,5 hour .
