TRAVEL ITINERARY:
DAY 1 : Medan Surroundings Tour to Berastagi.
Our tour guide will come to pick you up either from hotel in Medan City or Kuala Namu Airport North Sumatra. The package Medan Lake Toba to Berastagi tour starts by visiting some tourists highlights around Medan. Such as: (Istana) Maimun Palace, Medan Grand Mosque (Masjid Raya Al-Mashun), the unique church Maria Annai Vellangkanni and Asam Kumbang Crorodile Conservation. Then our journey proceeds to Berastagi, a mountainous highland with its refreshing cooling weather and which is surrounded by two active volcanoes SINABUNG mount and SIBAYAK mount. On our way, we will visit Pagoda Lumbini, the famous Buddhist temple park and check in hotel at noon.
DAY 2 : Berastagi to Samosir Island – Toba Lake.
On our trip to Lake Toba, we firstly will visit Dokan Village the authentic traditional Batak Karo village. Secondly we go on further to another fabulous tourist attraction around North Sumatra, the magnificent Sipiso-piso waterfall. Then thirdly we carry on driving to the King Purba Palace, the ancient Bolon House at Simalungun regency. After all, it must be awesome enjoying coffee break at Panorama Simarjarunjung with Northern Toba Lake view and surrounding mountains landscape. Our tour trip will proceed to Parapat town or Tiga Ras jetty to get a ferry/boat across Samosir Island – Toba Lake. Around noon time, check in hotel on Samosir Island.
DAY 3 : Lake Toba Cultural Tour proceed to Medan City or Kuala Namu Airport.
First of all, we begin visiting the most famous tour highlights around Samosir Island – Toba Lake. “King Siallagan” Stone chair ancient courtyard somewhere at Ambarita village, surrounded with typical Bolon houses will be our first stop. And we will visit Simanindo village to watch the performance of Batak Toba traditional dance. After that we will also visit Tomok village to see the ancient tombs of King Sidabutar graves yard.
Later on we continue further to Panorama Parhalow (Sigarantung) to have a coffee break in southern view Panorama Samosir Island Lake Toba. Finally we return to hotel as soon as we are done with all the highlights. And we will have lunch on our way before heading back to Medan Airport. After lunch we will take the ferry (boat) across to Parapat Jetty and continue travelling to Medan Airport. This journey roughly takes 4 to 5 hours drive to end the trip at Kuala Namu Airport or Medan City.
